How long does the tan last? When you receive an airbrush tan you will continue to see the results from 6-10 days depending on how you care for your skin. We recommend avoiding exfoliating, taking long hot baths or showers or doing anything that will encourage the skin to flake.
How should I prep for the tanning session? For best results shower and exfoliate the skin before coming to the session. Make sure you DO NOT have any oils, lotions, deodorant, anti-perspirant, or any other skin product that may cause the solution to not properly adhere to your skin. We recommend that you wear loose dark clothing and sandals for at least 3 hours after your tan. Make sure you wait 8-12 hours before showering, bathing or sweating. We recommend showering the next day to have the greatest results.
Should I shave before my bronzing session? Yes, it is best that you shave about 8 hours before the bronzing application. If your skin is ultra sensitive, you should shave 2 days prior. After your application, be sure to use a new razor.....old blades can remove the tanned skin cells if they are dull.
What do I wear to my tanning session? Women should wear your own lingerie or for no tanlines do without. Men should wear at least cotton briefs or boxers.
How long will the tanning session take? It only takes about 10-15 minutes to airbrush your entire body. We will dry you using our fans for an additional 10 minutes.
Aftercare and Products to AVOID after your tanning session.......Do not exfoliate or scrub skin after spray tanning. Do not shower for 8-12 hours because before this time the tan is still developing. Do not go to the gym, exercise or go swimming. Excessive sweating can cause the tan to run or develop unevenly. Do not use hair inhibiting lotions or creams, depilatory hair removers or body hair bleaching agents. Retin-A, Renova, Tri-Luma. Or any acne treatments containing benzoyl peroxide, saclicylic acid, alpha hydroxyl acid, beta hydroxyl acids. You will see some color washing off the first you shower. but this is just the surface color that was applied. Always pat your skin dry, do not rub.
